Holiday Meals Part 3: New Year’s 2013

I went grocery shopping, cleaned meat and veggies for stocking away in the freezer, and prepared my meals for the week of Christmas over the course of about two days. As a result, I had little interest in spending a lot of time in the kitchen cooking for the New Year so I decided to keep things even more simple.

My aunt is a big fan of Guanabanas, a seafood restaurant located in Jupiter, FL. She excitedly began describing the restaurant’s atmosphere from almost from the moment that I landed in Miami and it completely lived up to the hype.

I love shellfish and sushi but I’m fairly picky when it comes to regular cooked fish. I find that the taste of regular fish tends to be too strong for my liking and I tend to avoid cooking it for myself. However, that doesn’t prevent me from aspiring to eat more fish whenever I visit the fish market.
